NCTEC — the National Council for Technical Education & Certification is a vocational and safety-education body dedicated to building industry-ready skills across 34 sectors — from Fire & Industrial Safety (EHS) to Aviation, Hospitality, Computers and more. Our programmes combine structured classroom training, hands-on workshop practice, and third-party audit-consultancy expertise so every learner graduates job-ready.

Affiliation Terms & Conditions
Key conditions every training centre must meet to apply for and maintain NCTEC affiliation.
Affiliation Process at a Glance
Apply
Submit application online or offline with required documents.
Verification
Facilities and documents reviewed by the NCTEC Programme Office.
Approval
Affiliation granted once eligibility criteria are met.
Certification
Training Centre certificate issued, valid for one year.
Renewal
Apply for renewal at least one month before expiry.

Trust/Society/Proprietorship/Private Ltd, etc. institutions can apply for affiliation through online or offline mode.

Shifting or name change of the institutions should be intimated through mail to the NCTEC Programme Office.
- 3
Courses offered in the institution should be full time courses. If the management wants to run part time courses, special permission should be obtained from the NCTEC Programme Office.

The following titles are not allowed in the institute's name: Community, Community College, Nursing, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Vocational College, ITI/ITC.
- 5
Institutes which run other Certificate, Diploma or Degree courses should not award any certificate merging the same with NCTEC.
- 6
Facilities required: Classroom, Practical room according to the courses, Front office, Rest room, Lab/Library according to the courses, Name board.
Every eligibility requirement and facility standard a training centre must meet, in one place.
Validity & renewal: Affiliation is valid for one year from the date of grant. Training Centres must apply for renewal at least one month before the affiliation expiry date.
Compliance: Any advertisement giving false information to the public without NCTEC's consent is punishable and will lead to cancellation of the institute's approval.
